Friend Circle (“we”, “our” or “us”) operates a social video calling and interaction platform. This policy explains how information may be collected, used, protected and deleted.
1. Information we may collect
Account information such as name, phone number or email, age or date of birth, gender, profile photo and login details; device and technical information such as IP address, device model, operating system, crash logs and usage analytics; and in-app activity such as call metadata, chat activity, gifts, coins, wallet and transaction records.
2. How we use information
- To provide account, chat, matching and video-call functionality.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and investigate abuse.
- To improve performance and customer support.
- To send service notifications and necessary communication.
3. Payments
Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers or app stores. We do not intentionally store complete card or banking credentials.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be shared with infrastructure, analytics, payment, fraud-prevention or legal service providers where necessary, or with authorities when legally required.
5. Permissions
Camera and microphone permissions are required for calls. Storage or media permissions may be used for profile or chat uploads. Notifications are used for messages and call alerts. Optional location access may support regional discovery.
6. Adults only
Friend Circle is intended only for users aged 18 or above. Accounts identified as belonging to minors may be suspended or removed.
7. Account deletion and user rights
You may request correction or deletion of your information through the Account Deletion page or by emailing support@friend-circle.in. Requests are generally reviewed within 7–15 business days, subject to legal and fraud-prevention retention requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Policy updates
We may revise this policy when the app, law or operational requirements change. The updated effective date will be displayed on this page.
